Trust Mission

​The fourth and final objective of the Trust Mission is for Trust itself to set an example of what a corporate enterprise should be and how a corporate enterprise should operate. We believe that the primary function of a corporate enterprise, whether limited company or charitable trust, community interest group or church, is to meet the needs of those within the community in which it exists. This is the yardstick by which we will measure our own performance as a business and every aspect of our operations. We want to set an example but also to encourage this way of thinking in business and politics as well as media and government, both locally and nationally. We also specifically want to support and ‘partner’ with those corporate entities that are, like us, already striving to operate in this way and focused on promoting positive societal change as their overriding objective. In so doing we want to build a network of like-minded enterprises which draw on their combined strength to build a fairer, juster and more compassionate society.
